In retrospect, I probably should have known that the kid always playing sports in the backyard with his four brothers would want to spend his time exploring outdoors, and living life to the fullest.
Sounds like a life you want to lead? I’m passionate about helping others find freedom through fitness, the same way I did.
The ability to pair muscular training with running forced me to finally dust off the old running shoes and get back to my childhood passion. That one change made a ripple effect in my life. I started eating cleaner, getting more sleep, and implementing new workouts.
Fitness has always been a huge part of my identity, but after competing at the highest level of college track and field, I found myself burnt out and searching for a new purpose.
I noticed physical improvements, like feeling stronger and getting more muscle tone. But more importantly, I noticed mental and emotional improvements. I felt better rested each night and had more energy every morning. I was happier, more excited, and more engaged in my life.
With a clearer mind and stronger body, I started pursuing my secondary passion: travel. In 2020, gyms were closed, and, well, everything was closed. But flights were cheap, so I hopped on a plane and moved to Istanbul, Turkey where I lived for 3 months.
At the time, I didn't realize that this was just the beginning of something special. I found myself spending the second half of 2020 in Egypt, Montenegro, and Rio de Janeiro.
So, I started documenting what I was doing, where to eat, and where to workout, even if it was in my hotel room without any equipment.
That is how FitLifePassport was born. I wanted to open up my passport (and my life) to show that it’s possible to live completely free—free to travel, free to move, free to pursue your passions.
I was raised in a big, loud, loving Italian family. With 4 boys in the house, we all played sports and spent a lot of time competing in the backyard and one-upping each other. That’s what started my love of fitness and health.
As an adult, I’m still occasionally trying to one-up my brothers, but my motivation for fitness has changed. In 2024, my dad was diagnosed with ALS. This disease may be rare, but it is devastating. As motor nerve cells degenerate, the body’s muscles weaken, and even breathing gets difficult.
For a long time, my focus was on taking care of my body and improving my life. But after this diagnosis, all I want to do is make my family—especially my dad—proud and make a positive impact on the health of others.
In November 2024, I stepped onto the starting line of my second competitive fitness race since my college track and field days—not just for myself, but to honor my father and raise funds for The ALS Association. Crossing that finish line, hugging my older brother and calling my dad was a moment I'll never forget. Sadly, he couldn't attend the race in person due to his condition. I'm grateful he got to see me race one last time in person at HYROX Chicago in 2023.
On February 1st, 2025, my father courageously ended his battle with ALS. I miss him every day, but his strength lives on in me. His legacy fuels my purpose—to show up fully, chase my highest potential, and help others do the same.
Through FitLifePassport, I’m on a mission to empower individuals to live FIT, FREE & FEARLESS—by embracing movement, nourishing their bodies, exploring the world, and living life with intention and passion.
In honor of my father, FitLifePassport proudly donates 5% of all proceeds to The ALS Association and other causes that reflect our mission to make a meaningful impact.
Thank you for your support in fighting for a cure for ALS!
